Head Coach
Reagan Bonderer is the head coach of the Purple Wave Swim Team. This is her fourth year as head coach. Previously, Reagan spent a year as the assistant coach and many years as lane leader. Reagan began competitively swimming at age 7, and she is a former Club North Senior Swimmer, Kearney High School state swimmer, and Purple Wave swimmer. Reagan has shared her love of the sport by teaching swim lessons the past 7 summers and being an age group coach with the Columbia Swim Team.
Assistant Coaches
Hannah Herren is excited to begin her first year as an assistant coach with Purple Wave. She was a competitive swimmer for 13 years within the Northland Swim Conference and also swam for Club North. She was previously a Rookie Coach for the New Mark Stingrays and has given private swim lessons to swimmers of various ages and skill levels. She has a passion for helping swimmers improve their technique and grow in confidence, and is excited to create an encouraging and positive environment while building relationships and contributing to a fun and successful season!
Ryan Sprugel is beginning his first year as assistant coach and is excited to join the Purple Wave family. He loves swimming and is very passionate about helping swimmers of all ages and skill levels improve their technique and have fun. He is currently an assistant for the boys and girls swim and dive teams at Kearney High School. Previously he coached in the summers at Liberty Hills and he is a former Liberty North state swimmer.
